Tues. Grammar – Revise & Edit using ©KAMICO…Independent Practice…Assessment 3  ques. 1-12.

Wed. – Introduce new narrative prompt…pg. 21. Students will begin using Flee Map to organize thoughts. Students must include an effective intro. using BA-DA-BING, transitional words, compound and complex sentences, and effective details using T.O.E.S.
Thurs. – Continue Narrative


Reading

Mon. - Introduce Vocabulary for “Superman and Me and My First Memory (of Librarians)” pg.457. Build Background. Set Purpose for Reading

Literary Element: Setting

Reading Skill: Compare and Contrast.

Wed. – Comparing Literature-Literary Element: Setting. In what ways are the settings different? Similar? Use Thinking Maps – Double Bubble

Problem solving is one of many important skills students learn in school.

 
Write about a time when you worked hard to solve a problem at school.  Be sure to write in detail about the problem and describe what you did to solve it.
